USFWS can adapt slide shows and presentations for grades K-12 on biology curriculum addressing concepts such as ecosystems, ecology, and hydrology. Specific slide presentations have been developed on Great Basin wetlands, breeding biology of white pelicans and other wetland birds, bird adaptations (hawks, shorebirds, waterfowl), endangered species, wetland water management, and careers in natural resources. From April through September, prearranged field trips with a biologist are available to investigate wetlands and identify wetland birds. Other classroom aids are also available.
