The NRCS helps landowners and communities conserve and manage natural resources. Slide shows, videos, publications, posters, and other educational materials are available on natural resource conservation, including soils, wind and water erosion, and snow surveys.

Cooperative Extension creates public education programs to meet the
needs of communities throughout the state.
Educational forums, publications, and volunteer activities address natural
resource management for the general public and
youth audiences. Partnerships with other agencies, government entities,
and educational institutions are encouraged.
