A draft Teachers Guide is available upon request as a pre-visit package, and as a handbook of classroom activities for teachers unable to bring their students to the park. (Comments for improving the Teachers Guide are welcome.) On-site interpretation is offered. A minimum of two weeks notice of your visit is requested. Special note: tours of Lehman Caves are limited to 30 individuals per tour. Groups larger than 30 are broken into smaller groups and can usually be taken into the cave in 30 minute increments when staffing allows.

The NWS provides station tours for grades 5-12. Awareness materials on selected severe weather hazards, including floods, lightning, tornados, and winter storms, are provided. Also, the NWS will send speakers to schools for 3-12 grade levels. Information on career opportunities in the NWS is also available. Please allow two weeks advance notice for both tours and speakers.

The NRCS helps landowners and communities conserve and manage natural resources. Slide shows, videos, publications, posters, and other educational materials are available on natural resource conservation, including soils, wind and water erosion, and snow surveys.
